Important information for parents about access

Parents will be aware that we are striving to become a ‘paperless’ academy. The Schoolgateway app allows you to access all your child’s details. All parents are encouraged to sign up for the app, but please note that usage of the app is primarily linked to those who are ‘priority one’ contacts.  If you require additional access for an additional parent, please contact the Administration Manager.

 

The academy now sends the majority of information via email, offering our parents instant and convenient communication. As part of our paperless communication systems, parents can also download the above Schoolgateway app which provides a ‘one stop shop’ for communication.

Whilst all information is sent to the email address registered as the priority one contact on our system whether the app is installed or not, the app provides additional information including notification about Achievement and Behaviour Points, access to Student Progress Reports and timetables and the ability to notify us of changes to contact details.

Please note that the app can only be used by one parent at a time, and only the details of the priority one contact on our system can be used to log in.  Please contact the Administration Manager if you would like to arrange for an additional log in. Whilst the app can also be used across multiple devices, for security, when logged into another device the system will auto log out of any log-in on another device. If you want to access the information on more than one device, we would advise you to use the app on one device and log on via https://login.schoolgateway.com on the other.

Schoolgateway can be access via the Apple or android store   Please note that log-ins must match the details we hold exactly in order for a log-in pin be generated. If they require changing, please contact the academy. Please note that it takes 24 hours for Schoolgateway to be updated with any changes.
