All of these fantastic and exciting initiatives require the expertise and commitment of dedicated staff and Trinity Academy is currently looking to appoint Learning Assistants. The teaching and learning support provided by the Learning Support team is crucial to the success of some of our most vulnerable students. Working under the direction of a classroom teacher you will provide classroom based support to a range of students, including those with Special Educational Needs.

Knowledge or experience of working in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential, and you will also possess the skills to work within a small team.

You must be fully committed to optimising the opportunities that are available to children and young people, secure in the knowledge that you will be joining the flagship academy that sets the standards for the schools that are part of an ambitious and forward-thinking Academy Trust.

The role of Cover Supervisor demands flexibility and initiative, as you will be required to supervise students to complete work during the absence of their usual teacher. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates looking to start their career in teaching, or to build on previous teaching experience. Good organisation skills, flexibility and confidence in dealing with a classroom situation are essential.

The academy is willing to consider part-time/job share applications for this role.
