All students at Trinity Academy are placed in year groups, for example Year 7 or Year 11. The academy also works in ‘phases’ and each student is placed within a phase. These allow us to identify students in particular stages of their educational development and offer a range of learning opportunities as relevant.
Our phase system is also crucial to areas such as our Vertical Tutoring. Each phase is headed by a Phase Leader, who takes overall responsibility for the academic development of students and the transition of learners between each stage of their life at the academy.
Our phases are as follows:
- Phase 1 – Years 7 and 8.
- Phase 2 – Years 9, 10, 11.
- 6th Form – Years 12 and 13.
Students are given regular opportunities to hear from their Phase Leader and they also work closely with our College Managers to ensure that students have the support that they require.
